Israel intensifies strikes in Lebanon and Gaza, over 2000 dead
Israeli air strikes killed at least 18 people in southern Lebanon and seven Palestinians in Gaza during overnight attacks, according to local health ministries.
Lebanon has recorded over 2,000 deaths since the start of Israeli attacks. A raid on a government building in Nabatieh killed 13 State Security officers, and a drone strike near a mosque killed at least 6 people.
In response, Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets at northern Israel, damaging a 1,500-year-old Byzantine church.
